General Surgical treatment Panel Certification is the gold standard for recognizing also certifying some surgeon who has demonstrated some level of skill, knowledge and competence on their field of expertise. Candidates qualify to taking the oral competency examination (CE) by first passing any penned qualifying examination (QE). Structured events are presented throughout the CE in two American Board of Surgical treatment (ABS) examiners for each session: a regional or local medical group ABS consul also an ABS director. The cases specified through the three, 30-second sessions reflect typical problems encountered during a general surgery operation.
